Sources and methodology

Every figure on Look at Poland comes with a source and the date we last checked it.

Where the data comes from

  • Official sources first: Statistics Poland (GUS), the National Bank of Poland (NBP), Eurostat, government sites (gov.pl) and the operators themselves, such as railway companies.
  • Market data: published reports from property portals and analysts, always named and linked.
  • Our own visits: for places, opening details and photos where we have been there ourselves.

How guides are written

Guides are researched and drafted with the help of AI tools, then checked and edited by a person before publishing. Each guide shows a “Last checked” date. Prices and rules change, so for anything important, such as a contract or a ticket, confirm the details with the official source linked at the end of the guide.

Photos

Photos are our own or used under their licence, with the author and licence named in the caption. We do not use AI-generated images to show real places.

Affiliate links

Some guides may link to booking sites. If a link earns us a commission, it is marked as such, and it never decides what we recommend.
